Prenatal Mental Health

Combining my expertise as a therapist and doula, I've supported numerous postpartum clients, offering a unique blend of therapeutic guidance and compassionate care. My dual role allows me to provide holistic support, addressing both the emotional challenges and practical needs of new parents during the delicate postpartum period. Through therapeutic interventions and empathetic counseling, I help new parents address postpartum challenges, fostering emotional resilience and promoting a healthy transition into parenthood.

Space Holder for Birth Workers 

This is an opportunity for birth workers to release any emotions or experiences that need to process.  As birth workers, we often hold onto that affect ourselves and inadvertently how we show up, and this debrief is an opportunity to release those feelings, knowing that you're not navigating this journey alone.I genuinely care about each one of you and understand how burnout can sneak up on us.

Life Transitions

In my therapy practice, I have extensive experience assisting individuals facing life transitions, providing empathetic support and guidance during periods of change. Utilizing therapeutic strategies tailored to each person's unique circumstances, I help clients navigate transitions, facilitating adjustment, personal growth, and the development of effective coping mechanisms for a smoother transition into new life stages.

Relationship Issues

Specializing in supporting individuals and couples within the LGBTQIA+ community, I provide a nonjudgmental space for exploring and resolving relationship issues. Utilizing therapeutic approaches like Emotional Focused Therapy and communication skills training, I help clients identify underlying patterns and conflicts, empowering them to communicate effectively, rebuild trust, and cultivate healthy, fulfilling relationships.

Self- Image

​I support individuals in enhancing their self-image by guiding them to explore and challenge negative beliefs, including those associated with imposter syndrome. Using CBT and ACT techniques, I assist clients in recognizing and confronting these distorted beliefs, fostering self-compassion and mindfulness for greater self-acceptance. This journey cultivates a healthier self-image and boosts self-confidence, empowering clients to lead more fulfilling and authentic lives.

Anxiety

In a supportive environment, I help individuals with anxiety explore its root causes, employing evidence-based techniques like CBT and integrating DBT to challenge negative thought patterns and develop coping strategies.
